Wekiva Island Submerged From Hurricane Irma

Central Florida's popular watering hole Wekiva Island has been submerged underwater in the wake of Hurricane Irma. 

The 2,000-square-foot recreation complex & bar suffered severe flooding damage. The island will be closed until further notice and is currently 4" under water.

Many people are eager to help, although Wekiva owners are urging people to stay off property - it isn't safe.
