KISS is fighting, again.

Founding Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley , the Spaceman of the original band, went after former bandmate Gene Simmons , the Demon of the band and in real life. Gene Simmons can really be an asshole. Anyway....... Ace bashed Gene in a scathing Facebook post he shared on Tuesday. Ace says “THE GLOVES ARE OFF!!” On his facebook, the guitarist was upset at Simmons for comments the bassist made recently about Frehley’s alcohol abuse. “Ace and Peter have gotten three chances,” Gene said in an interview with Guitar World . “They were in and out of the band — fired — three times. For drugs, alcohol, bad behavior, being unprofessional… So the short answer… is we’d love to have Ace and Peter join us here and there. And if they don’t, it’s not going to be because of us.” Gene droned on, “Would we welcome Ace or Peter to jump up onstage for a song or two? Of course. Could we depend on either Ace of Peter to do a full set night after night? Not on your fucking life.”
Way to keep things friendly Gene! It's the "End of the Road" tour. As a KISS fan, I'd like to think "maybe" Ace or Peter may jump on stage when I go to see you in Tampa on April 11th. Now, you have blown that chance you egotistical greedy jackass. Why can't you think before you talk like Paul Stanley does? Can you just let Paul speak for the band?? Damn it Gene, shut up!
Ace Frehley wrote on Facebook that these repeated statements from Simmons cost him millions of dollars over the years. I don't know about that. I think maybe Ace having drug and alcohol issues caused Ace to loose millions. As much as I think Gene Simmons can be an ass, Ace has to own that "demon" ( pun intended). He also called Simmons and Paul Stanley “control freaks, untrustworthy and were too difficult to work with,” while claiming he quit the band twice and was never fired. Well, when you are working with a person , or two band members, who have problems with dependency , you HAVE to be a control freak. If not, the addicts will ruin the entire band / show / business. If you are acting like a "child" in a band, you will be treated like a child.
Ace also claims that Gene Simmons sexually assaulted his wife. “The icing on the cake was when you groped my wife and propositioned her in Los Angeles at the Capitol Records building behind my back, when I was trying to help you out at one of your ‘Vault Experiences,’” he wrote. “I only found out about [the proposition] several weeks later. She was planning on pursuing a suit against you, but I told her to call it off!!!” Frehley also referred to Simmons as “an asshole and a sex addict who’s being sued by multiple women,” drawing attention to the bassist’s history of alleged sexual misconduct . Ace hit that one right on the head. Gene is an asshole and a sex addict. I know he is an asshole, he was to me on two occasions and he admits to being a sex addict. Ace wins that one.
Ace Frehley closed the post by writing, “Without a complete and heartfelt apology, an offer to give me my old job back, and removing Tommy [Thayer] from the Throne that I created… THE SHIT WILL HIT THE FAN AND THEY’LL BE NO STOPPING IT-IT’S ON!!!”
Ace, you can't make threats to get your old job back in KISS. You don't want your old job back. I know you are upset that you are not in Kiss any longer. This is not the way to be the Spaceman again. I don't think this will work. Show Gene how you can make him more money, that is all that A-hole cares about.
The great thing about Kiss, the guys are fighting today and next week they'll be playing on a stage together. For the right money they will all hug and "KISS" on stage.
As a fan of Kiss, I hate to see this.
