Avalanches in the Himalayas are not that uncommon, but the one that struck Nepal on Sunday was terrifying. And somehow, someone in its path managed to record it on video, all while running for their life. The video, which has since gone viral, shows a huge plume of snow hurtling down the mountain in the Mustang region. Local media called it an "unseasonable" event and cities higher temperatures and climate change as possible factors. The avalanche is said to be the biggest ever in the area.
