Ariel footage showed Miami-Dade Police and Florida Highway Patrol pursuing the suspect's vehicle on the Palmetto Expressway southbound this afternoon.
The vehicle stopped in Doral where the suspect then jumped into the waterway trying to escape authorities.
Officers were seen jumping into the water to pull the person out... and placing them in handcuffs.
