On 4/30/2014, at approximately 0340 hours, the below pictured subjects entered the 7-11 gas station located at 6100 S Apopka Vineland Road. The subjects took two sandwiches, passed all points of sale, struck the employee and threatened to kill him. The suspects fled in a vehicle described as a white Lincoln SUV. The suspects have frequented the store and are believed to live in the area.

 

Suspect 1 (Left): W/M, 6’, 180lbs

Suspect 2 (Right): W/M, 5’9”, 190lbs, stock, with blonde hair

 

 

 

Kissimmee Police Warn of Apartment Community Drop Box Burglaries

 

Kissimmee, Fla. (May 12, 2014) – Kissimmee police detectives are warning apartment communities about recent burglaries involving rent/deposit drop boxes.

 

Between May 2, 2014 and May 5, 2014, the Kissimmee Police Department has taken reports from five (5) apartment communities regarding burglaries to their drop boxes.  The residents of the communities use the drop boxes to deposit their monthly rent check/money order when the office is closed.  A sticky substance was found on all of the drop boxes except for one.  This substance was utilized to pull the checks and money orders out of the boxes. 

 

Video surveillance was obtained from one of the communities.  The video shows the suspects arrive at approximately 4:18 a.m. on May 4, 2014.  One suspect works for approximately 10 minutes retrieving items from the drop box and the other suspect acts as a lookout.

 

The Kissimmee Police Department’s Problem Oriented Policing Unit has passed out warning flyers to the apartment communities within the City urging residents to take rent checks into the office when the office is open and not utilize the drop boxes.

On 5/10 at approximately 0325 hours, the below-pictured subject entered the CVS located at 5300 S John Young Parkway with a black semi-automatic handgun with an orange tip (possibly fake). The suspect ordered the employee to remove money from the register. The suspect then fled on foot northbound towards Conroy road.

 

The suspect is described as: 5’8”, 160lbs, wearing a white fishing hat, white clothing, blue bandana around his face, with a southern country accent.
