PROGRESS! Better late than never.

Circuit Judge Dale Cohen out of Broward County has ruled that Florida's same-sex marriage ban is unconstitutional. This is the third in a string of events that have seen progress in equal rights in the state of Florida; however, this is the first that requires the state to recognize a same-sex union performed in another state.

In recent weeks, a Monroe County Judge and a Miami-Dade County Judge made similar rulings, however, those only cover local marriages and cannot be acted upon during the appeals process.
