Channel 6 News' Tony Pipitone, one of Orlando's top reporters, has decided to make the move to South Florida to the Miami-Fort Lauderdale market. Pipitone has become well-known for his Problem Solvers segment on WKMG and other investigative reports. Pipitone, who has been with Channel 6 for 26 years, has been one of the most respected journalists in the Orlando market whose reports have been a big draw for the CBS affiliate.

Pipitone cited personal reasons for his move to WTVJ, an NBC affiliate. His wife, Myriam Marquez, was recently promoted to executive editor for the Miami Herald.

Tony Pipitone will be missed here in Orlando but we wish him all the best in Miami.
