The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will be meeting September 10th to discuss the possibility of letting licensed hunters use a silencer/suppressor on their hunting rifles to hunt game.

The suppressors in question aren't quite like the ones you see in the movies, but are still affective in protecting hunters' ears. 

Tony Young, a spokesperson for the Wildlife Commission, says 

"It basically will take a high-powered rifle and make it sound like a .22."
