Last week, a Florida judge made history by declaring the Sunshine State's ban on gay marriage was unconstitutional, but this week it was announced that same-sex couples will not be allowed to marry just yet.

Immediately after the declaration of the unconstitutionality of the ban, Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi filed for an appeal. Circuit Judge Luis Garcia stated that the stay on gay marriage would not be lifted during the appeals process.
