Governor Rick Scott announced yesterday his plans to build a new station at Orlando International Airport that would house several trains for Florida's All Aboard Florida train project. Scott will only put half of the $215 million spending proposal into the project this year, the other half would come next year ---- that is, if he's re-elected.

Scott is willing to spend the money for the All Aboard Florida project, but the decision to adopt the spending plan relies on the state Legislature which will discuss the plan starting March 4th. Scott remains optimistic that the spending plan will be approved and will create more jobs and increase tourism.

Construction could start as early as late this year and will be up-and-running for operations by late 2015.
