In this past Sunday's episode of John Oliver's new HBO show, Last Week Tonight, the former Daily Show correspondent encouraged the internet's worst trolls to leave comments on FCC's comment page regarding the Net Neutrality issue.
It was recently announced by the FCC that there will be a section on their website where anybody can leave a comment regarding the upcoming decision on Open Internet, a move that was suppose to give the impression that the FCC actually cares what you think.
Oliver dedicated an entire segment to the Net Neutrality story encouraging the internet trolls who leave terrible, hurtful, uncalled-for and disgusting comments to videos and stories to take to the FCC's open comment section and do their worst. And the trolls did just that.
In less than 24 hours, internet users crashed the FCC's website. KEEP IT UP!
