Yesterday it seemed that maybe the riots in the capital city Kiev in the Ukraine would finally come to an end after it was announced that a "truce" has been reached between President Viktor Yanukvych and the opposition leaders. But peace talks collapsed overnight with accusations of treachery overnight.
Riots continued today as the fear of the Ukraine government invoking military action intensifies. Health officials are reporting that 39 people have been killed today alone bringing the death toll from the past 3 days to at least 67.
