It's no secret that Florida has a water crisis on its hands. The St. Johns River Water Management District is urging Floridians to cut water consumption to a minimum by installing low-flow shower heads, watering their lawn less, and having an overall conscientious lifestyle when it comes to water usage.

This week in his Taking Names column in the Orlando Sentinel, Scott Maxwell asks why St. Johns is allowing an out-of-state bottled water company, Niagara Bottling, to double its water consumption to more than 300 million gallons a year.
