Spring Break Students Volunteer to Make Baby Caskets

Most students on Spring Break spend their time at the beach, hanging out with friends, drinking and partying, but a group of college students from Ohio's Mount Vernon Nazarene University volunteered their time off from school to build small caskets for deceased children for unfortunate families who are unable to afford a burial for their lost loved-one. 

Funeral director Gail Thomas-Dewitt says that caskets for small children cost at least $400, which a considerable chunk of money. Burial arrangements get pricey and there are still a lot of faiths that do not believe in cremation.
