PAMPLONA, Spain — Spanish officials say the opening bull run of this year’s San Fermin festival in the northern city of Pamplona has left at least five people injured, including two who were gored by crazed Spanish bulls.

Red Cross spokesman José Monet says the most seriously injured were treated Sunday at the main regional hospital following the race, which lasted 2 minutes and 41 seconds.

This has started a petition to make a drastic change to the world famous festival. Next year runners will have to rent a Mega Hamster bubble to run with the bulls.

Pamplona's city council declared its "commitment to continue working for a festival in which men and women can freely and safely enjoy themselves,"The Guardipun reported.

"These big Mega Hamster bubble balls will keep men and women safe when running from the 800 lbs bulls. We should have done this decades ago!" said LaQuinta Hairlippy from the Pampalona City council.

It's the latest move by festival planners in responding to scandals that engulfed the festival.

Mega Hamster Bubble balls will rent for $50 for the running of the bulls festival. If a bull pops your Mega Hamster ball it will set you back $1,200.00.

Happy Running.

If you've taken time to read this entire article, the idea of Mega Hamster bubbles is totally the idea of Russ Rollins and has never been considered for the running of the bulls. I just enjoy seeing how many people will share a bogus news story without checking the source.
