Orlando Magic co-founder Pat Williams has announced a push for Orlando to get its next major sports franchise.
In a press conference today, Williams got "the ball rolling" by announcing his intent to bring Major League Baseball to The City Beautiful, and even revealed his idea for a team name, the Orlando Dreamers, and logo (seen below), which has been met with some mixed emotions.
Despite the reveal, Williams added that the team name, ownership, and locale is all up for discussion. The focus of today's press conference was to bolster support for the franchise itself and find out whether Orlando is ready to play ball.
