After a few radio interviews, me meeting Alan Harris, the Chief Administrator for the Office of Emergency Management for Seminole County, Florida for the first time.
The Fire Department's ladder truck is always a big hit with the kids. Just remember, if you work on the 4th floor or higher, that ladder ain't reachin' ya!
It was more than trucks, both Advent Health and Orlando Health had their helicopters on display.

Our "friends" from FPL took time away from screwing over Florida homeowners with rooftop solar systems to send a truck to the event.
Many kids were at the event and Mr. Turtle here was quite popular with the younger attendees.
I got a lollipop! Thanks to me event neighbor Lieutenant Omar Lugo who gave me a hand setting up my tent, but also a treat for being well behaved on the day.
Overall it was a great event, approximately 9,000 people attended and the weather was perfect. Be sure to check out the 2023 Touch a Truck event! Peace!
