Three protesters were arrested after one attempted to glue his head to the famed painting while another poured a red liquid on him. Fortunately, the painting is protected by glass and was not damaged.
One of the men was heard yelling, "How do you feel when you see something beautiful and priceless being apparently destroyed before your eyes? Do you feel outrage? Good. That is the feeling when you see the planet being destroyed before our very eyes."
Two men pictured in a video posted to Twitter were wearing shirts that said "Just Stop Oil" while the third person arrested wasn't seen.
