The Killers Deliver Swaggering 'The Man' Performance at the 2017 MTV EMAs

posted by Chris Payne, Billboard -

“I think we need some rock,” host Rita Ora proclaimed in the waning moments of the 2017 MTV EMAs. The evening already included a pre-recorded U2 performance and a Thirty Seconds to Mars acceptance speech from Jared Leto, but The Killers assured the SSE Arena crowd got a live rendition of their latest hit single.

"The Man" came to life, with frontman Brandon Flowers sounding on-point and confident, backed by a trio of female vocalists to add to the song's flashy choruses. The disco-influenced track comes from the Killers' 2017 album Wonderful Wonderful, released back on Sept. 22 on Island Records.
