Another video has surfaced of a South Florida drawbridge going up with someone still on it.

The incident happened back in November 2020 on the Parker Bridge in North Palm Beach.

A bicyclist rode across the bridge just before it started to rise. He can be seen clinging to the bridge as it goes up. A driver ran over to help the bicyclist to safety and he suffered minor injuries.

Last October, a bridge tender was fired after a car was caught on the edge of the rising Ocean Avenue Bridge in Lantana.

All of this came to light in the wake of a 79-year-old West Palm Beach woman falling to her death when the Royal Park Bridge went up as she walked her bicycle across it last month. That is still under investigation.

The Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency says they will be discussing public awareness campaigns and other safety measures.
