Dozens of art fairs, cultural activations and thousands of galleries and artists are flooding South Florida for the start of Art Week in both Miami and Miami Beach.
It's all centered around Art Basel Miami Beach, which is entering its 23rd edition, with its previews beginning on Wednesday.
"It is invigorating every corner of the beach from North Beach all the way down to South Beach. From bays to beaches, there is something for everyone," says Miami Beach Commissioner Tanya Bhatt.
She adds, hotels and restaurants are packed, with a half-billion dollars being injected into the Miami metro area this week.
