People on Twitter are fighting mad about the disgusting regional pizza of Spokane, Washington. It does sound pretty horrific...fry sauce, canned salmon, peppers, onions, and strawberries?!
Pretty gross if it was a real thing, but it's not. Spokane-style pizza is completely made up. Josh Scherer, from Mythical Kitchen and the podcast A Hot Dog Is A Sandwich, posted the video where he introduces viewers to "one of the most underrated regional pizzas." It's short, to the point, and totally straight-faced. The video started making the rounds and people who weren't familiar with the host or his YouTube show were/are outraged about the insane combination of toppings people in Spokane are piling on their disgusting casserole dish pizzas.
