If sex sells, maybe it'll also get some people out to the polls.
That is, at least, the mindset of Vladimir Putin's election supporters who are using a campaign put together by the Russian edition of Maxim Magazine to encourage young men NOT to sit out next month's presidential election, but instead to show up and vote. The identity of those supports, however is a mystery. Adding on to the already bizarre practice, the Russian Maxim editor-in-chief confirmed the promotion as a "special business project" for an unknown client and the amount spent on the campaign has not been disclosed.
