Maryland State Senator Cheryl Kagan has accused lobbyist Gil Genn of sliding his hand down her back at an Irish Pub. At a news conference, Kagan held up her laptop, showing surveillance footage from the bar (scroll down to see) saying it showed how Genn placed his nad on her back and "[slid] it down my body."
Genn disagrees, however, saying the video proved "beyond dispute that I did not grab or grope her."
Genn is demanding an apology, and according to Kagan's tweet below which includes the video, is threatening to sue for defamation.
Astonished that lobbyist Gil Genn is threatening to sue me for defamation. His 3-page statement swore that he "never touched me" and was carrying a coat, umbrella, etc. You decide. #MDGA18 #MeToo https://t.co/ZWTJS6TEAt— Cheryl C. Kagan (@CherylKagan) March 13, 2018
