Viral video of a baseball player beating his girlfriend back in 2016...and they are still together to this day.

Reports say that he is "Ashamed of his behavior"

To make a long story short this guy, Danry Vasquez, was arresting in August 2016 for domestic violence in Texas after repeatedly beating the woman and dragging her down a flight of stairs in Whataburger Field stadium.  The girlfriend wouldn't cooperate so the charges were ultimately dropped once Vasquez completed a series of anger management courses.  

Vasquez was playing for Corpus Christi Hooks at the time of the incident.  MLB placed him on administrative leave and the team ultimately officially released him while on leave.

Somehow this guy was able to get a job with the Lancaster Barnstormers in PA this year in January. That was until this video was released on March 13, 2018 when he was released again.

“There is no choice but to sever the relationship, said team manager, Ross Peebles. “Neither I, nor the Barnstormers’ organization as a whole, can condone or associate with that behavior.”

Tonya Harding was arrested for domestic violence in 2000
Floyd Mayweather Jr. plead guilty to domestic violence in 2010
Dwight Gooden was charged with domestic violence in 2005
Dennis Rodman plead no contest to domestic violence charges in Los Angeles in 2008.
Warren Sapp was arrested for domestic violence in 2010, but the charges were later dropped.
Randy Moss was reportedly charged with domestic violence. In 2008, he was also accused of dating violence in a lawsuit that was later dropped.
Jose Canseco plead guilty to domestic violence charges in 1988 and again in 1997.
Greg Hardy was found guilty on two counts of domestic violence in 2014.
Tito Ortiz was arrested for domestic violence in 2010, but his girlfriend Jenna Jameson later dropped the charges.
Manny Ramírez was arrested for domestic violence in 2011.
Rasheed Wallace was charged with domestic violence in 2002.
Dez Bryant was arrested for domestic violence in 2012, for allegedly hitting his mother.
Stone Cold Steve Austin was arrested for domestic violence in 2002.
