R&R Reserve vs. Proper Twelve

I went to the liquor store to get a bottle of Conor McGregor's Proper No. Twelve Irish whiskey. While I was at the whiskey isle a nice guy tells me, "Yo Russ, you need to get some of this R&R Canadian whiskey. It could be your new drink! It's got your initials!"
Well, I'm a sucker of anything that has my initials on it, so I bought the bottle of "Rick & Rare Reserve", which is a Canadian blend.
Both whiskeys are 40% alcohol, both are 80 proof.
The bottle of Conor McGregor's new whiskey, Proper No. Twelve cost $30.00.
R&R Reserve cost $45.00.
I think we all know I'm a sucker for anything with three "R's" on it..... but I enjoyed Proper No. Twelve much more. It's smooth, I can drink it straight on on the rocks.
Both whiskey's are good, really good. But if I have to score the two, Conor McGregor wins by a decision.
