Less than two days before it was set to begin, organizers of the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival announced the event will be canceled, after weather has left areas of the unsuitable for concert-goers and campers.
After previously indicating camping capacity would be reduced due to the amount of rain from Hurricane Ida, the festival announced the cancellation in a series of tweets and a message on their website, saying the Centeroo area of the farm is waterlogged and areas of the campground are too flooded to allow cars to enter and park safely.
This marks the third cancellation for the fest, which sold out in 2020, but was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
