A Shark Attacks A Teenage Surfer At A Central Florida Beach *WARNING*

New video shows a 16-year-old surfer getting bitten by a shark while he was surfing at New Smyrna Beach. Georgia teenager Doyle Nielson was paddling on the water September 9 just north of Ponce Inlet when a shark came up behind him and bit him on the arm. The shocking video was taken by Sam Scribner, a quadriplegic photographer who posted the video to Instagram in the hoping the young surfer would see it, and to make sure he was okay. Nielson did see it and replied under the video, "I'm really lucky! I walked away with only nine stitches required. So cool you got this on camera!" New Smyrna Beach is known as the so-called "shark bite capital of the world." According to the Daytona Beach News-Journal, Nielson's bite is the 10th shark bite in Volusia County this year.
