A High School football coach has garnered over a million views on Twitter after posting a video saying one of his players quit and he "couldn't be happier."
Kurt Hines, a football coach at Coronado High School in California has gone viral for his gracious response to a player quitting his team. In a video posted to his Twitter account (seen above), Hines' explains the student was having trouble and didn't seem happy being on the team.
Instead of criticizing the student for quitting, he simply said he was proud of him for realizing he wasn't happy and making a move to change his situation, a stance that has has been met with some blowback from other coaches around the country. Regardless, Coach Hines says his support of the player's decision hasn't changed.
