A Belle Isle police officer has resigned after being arrested Monday morning in DeBary and charged with driving under the influence. Officer Ivar Ruiz told deputies he wasn't wearing any pants when asked to perform a field sobriety test, and while he was allowed to put shorts on, he performed the exercise shirtless.
