The Reward For An Accused Cop-Killer Grows

The reward for the capture of an accused cop-killer in northeast Florida is growing. The Nassau County Sheriff's Office tweeted that $54,000 is now being offered for information leading to the arrest of Patrick McDowell. The former Marine is accused of shooting Deputy Joshua Moyers during a traffic stop in Callahan, northwest of Jacksonville, early Friday morning. Sheriff Bill Leeper announced that the 29-year-old Moyers passed away yesterday afternoon at UF Health Jacksonville. The 35-year-old McDowell is described as white, 6-feet tall, 170 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
