Police in Volusia County are credited with saving a driver from drowning. The Port Orange Police Department posted a video yesterday on Facebook that shows what happened after a woman's car wound up in a canal Friday inside Colony in the Wood. Police say officers jumped in the canal, smashed the car's windows and pulled the woman out of the car as it started to sink. Police say this is another great example of officers' willingness to put themselves in harm's way to protect a stranger.
