Twins Take Opener From Rays

The Minnesota Twins (42-46) defeated the Tampa Bay Rays (48-40) 4-3 on Friday afternoon in Minneapolis.

The game was tied 3-3 heading into the ninth inning - in the bottom of the ninth, Harrison Brader hit a solo homer to end the game and lift Minnesota to the win. It was Brader's second homer of the game.

The Rays will look to bounce back and even the series against the Twins coming up on Saturday afternoon. First pitch Saturday is scheduled for 2:10 PM - Chris Adams-Wall begins pregame coverage at 1:30 PM on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620, your Home of Rays Baseball.
