The Chicago White Sox (57-90) defeated the Tampa Bay Rays (72-74) 5-1 on Thursday afternoon to win the three-game series.
Colson Montgomery hit a two-run single in the first to give the White Sox the early lead, before Chicago added three in the sixth to put the game out of reach. The only offense of the game from the Rays came from a RBI single from Junior Caminero, giving him 106 on the season.
