Tonight, we are all Rock & Roll fans because the impossible happened at the ‘One Love Manchester’ concert. Liam Gallagher, of the former Oasis band, surprised the crowd when he took the stage singing ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Star.”
After an emotional set from Coldplay of “Don’t Look Back In Anger,’ dedicated to Ariana Grande, it seemed that all hope was lost and there was not going to be an appearance by either of the siblings.
Rightfully It was very shocking when the Manchester-born, Liam, appeared to a very excited audience who was obviously anticipating the long-awaited on-stage reunion with his brother Noel.
The feud between Liam and Noel Gallagher dates to the late 90’s when the band was still together and Noel, who was the main songwriter of the band, constantly complained about his brother’s lack of respect for the band.
Late arrivals, substance abuse, and public foul language were some of the main reasons why Noel admitted he decided to step away from the band.
However, the quarreling did not end there as both brothers have publicly disputed and shaded each other through sub-tweets, and comments to the press.
Well, since love is all around, what better place to bury the hatchet than coming together for their city? It seems not even terrorism could bring these two together, so sadly, there was no reunion.
Nevertheless, Liam did perform “Live Forever alongside Coldplay.”
Said to the audience:
“I want to dedicate this next song to the beautiful people that were killed In Manchester by the terrorist attack.”
All we can say, is that at least one of the bros showed up! Noel, next move is on you!
