Marvel Icon Stan Lee Fires Back After Nurses' Sexual Assault Claims

Comic book legend Stan Lee is facing accusations that he groped and harassed nurses that care for him at his Los Angeles home. The Daily Mail reports that multiple nurses complained that the 95-year-old Marvel creator allegedly asked for sexual favors and groped them while they cared for him at his home.

Lee's lawyer denied the accusations and claimed that he was the victim of a shakedown. In a statement his lawyers said "Mr. Lee categorically denies these false and despicable allegations and he fully intends to fight to protect his stellar good name and impeccable character."

'Instead, Mr. Lee has received demands to pay money and threats that if he does not do so, the accuser will go to the media.

'Mr Lee will not be extorted or blackmailed, and will pay no money to anyone because he has done absolutely nothing wrong.'

The nursing company severed ties with Stan at the end of 2016 because of the complaints. A new company has taken over caring for him and had only good things to say about Lee.. A representative for the new company said "Lee has been nothing but polite, kind and respectful" to the nurses since they started caring for him.
