Elton John Farewell Tour Dates

Elton John Special Announcement

Elton John is calling it quits!

...but not before an impressive 300-date farewell tour that will start in Allentown, PA in September and stretch around the world in various legs til early 2020.

The Rocketman will navigate his way through South and Central Florida in late November, stopping in Orlando on Wednesday, Nov 28th, for his fourth and final show at the Amway Center. Jacksonville fans will have to either make the trek to one of those shows, or wait til March 2019 when the tour loops back around and plays its final stateside stop at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena before moving on to Europe, Asia, South America, Australia and New Zealand.

CNN's Anderson Cooper assisted in the announcement Wednesday in New York, where 70-year-old John said the globe-spanning tour, dubbed the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, would be his last. The announcement promised "the most produced, fantastic show that [Elton has] ever done!"

“It’s a way of going out with a bang. I don’t want to go out with a whimper. I’m not a whimpery guy!” says John.

The singer plans to shift gears and spend more time with his husband and two young children, but assures his career will not be over, just his days on the road.
