Busch Gardens Tampa Bay Gets New Boss

TAMPA -- There's a new face at the top of the food chain at Busch Gardens Tampa and Adventure Island.The attraction says Neal Thurman, a 25-year veteran of the Six Flags organization, will take over as park president September 8th.

Current president Stewart Clark will assume a new position as Senior Vice President of Zoo Commercial Operations.

Thurman has served as Park President of Six Flags Magic Mountain near Los Angeles since 2017. Before that he was the president for Six Flags parks in San Antonio, TX and Jackson, NJ.

A statement from Busch Gardens says Thurman has been chosen to "propel Busch Gardens Tampa and Adventure Island into the future." Busch Gardens parks are owned by Seaworld Entertainment.
