Hospital Employee Accused of Secretly Recording Individuals in Restroom

Weston, FL - A 31-year-old South Florida medical assistant has been arrested on video voyeurism charges after he was caught filming female patients using the restroom.

Jeremy Galindo Ciocon, 31, from Weston, who served as a medical assistant in the urology department of Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital, faces charges of video voyeurism.

An arrest affidavit reveals that Ciocon purportedly utilized two iPhones to clandestinely record individuals in the restroom, with motives attributed to personal gratification.

The allegations surfaced when a victim discovered a cellphone actively recording her while using the restroom last Friday.

In response to the incident, a spokesperson from Cleveland Clinic Florida informed Local 10 News of Ciocon's immediate removal from his position.

The hospital further emphasized its commitment to ensuring the safety and rights of patients, visitors, and caregivers.

The institution is actively collaborating with law enforcement's investigation while conducting an internal review to address the matter comprehensively.

Following a court appearance in Broward County, Ciocon received a $4,000 bond, which he subsequently posted.

Additionally, he has been prohibited from returning to the hospital premises as legal proceedings continue.
