Alligator Bites Farm Worker In Palm City

A farm worker on the Treasure Coast is expected to be okay after being attacked by an alligator.

The 9-foot-4-inch gator bit the man's leg at a pepper farm in Palm City on Tuesday.

The animal latched onto the side of the worker's thigh but he was able to break free and get away, according to the Martin County Sheriff's Office.

The man was taken to the hospital for treatment to puncture wounds but his injuries were not life-threatening.

Wrangler Captures Gator That Bit Farm Worker In Palm City

The gator was found and removed from the area by a wrangler.
