Believe it or not, but former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris have never met.

Donald Trump declined to attend President Biden's inauguration in 2020, so he did not rub elbows with the Vice President at the event.

So now, after a surprise two-month campaign, Harris will meet Trump for the first time Tuesday night for perhaps their only debate.

Harris has only agreed to one formal media interview over the past six weeks and has not revealed, in depth, her platform as of yet.

In June President Joe Biden bowed out of the race after his disastrous performance, Trump survived an assassination attempt and both sides chose their running mates.

Tonight's debate begins at 9 p.m. Eastern in Philadelphia.
