US Border Czar Joins Gov. DeSantis for Immigration Roundtable

(Sarasota, FL) - Governor Ron DeSantis held an immigration roundtable US Border Czar Tom Homan and the acting head of Homeland Security Chad Wolf today.

They all agree that everything President Trump is doing by executive order to fight illegal immigration needs to be codified by Congress.

Homan says in four months there's been a 96-percent decline in border crossings, but he won't be happy until all the threats to Americans are removed.

Homan also said the Trump administration is not going to stop removing Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang members despite interference from federal judges.

"We're going to keep doing what we're doing to make the country safe," said Homan.

Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf says federal judges and the left were first siding with illegal migrants, "now they're siding with terrorists."

Wolf also says no migrant has a right to citizenship, a student visa or a green card and anyone not following the law can be removed.

DeSantis also sided with President Trump on ending birthright citizenship. "The president is right to do the executive order. He knew this was gonna end up in the courts."
