(OMAHA, NE) -- The Salvation Army is launching a new mobile meal service this summer aimed at helping Omaha families in need.
The program, called “Family Meals of Hope,” will provide free dinners at four local parks on weeknights from June 2 through August 1, excluding holidays. Meals will be served between 6:00 and 7:15 p.m. at Miller Park, Benson Park, Upland Park, and Highland Park.
The program expands on existing summer meal efforts and is part of the Salvation Army’s broader response to food insecurity.
