As we await an expected ruling on the future of construction at Alligator Alcatraz, Governor Ron DeSantis is speaking out on Florida's second migrant detention facility dubbed "Deportation Depot". The governor says there's plenty of support for the facility located at the old Baker Correctional Institution about forty miles west of Jacksonville. The prison, which closed four years ago because of staffing shortages, has been converted to initially accommodate thirteen hundred detainees with the capacity to expand to two thousand.
