OCSO VIDEO: Hero Dog Leads Florida Deputy to Fallen Grandmother

A Florida dog guides a sheriff’s deputy through the dark to find his injured grandmother who fell while walking him.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is crediting the family dog named Eeyore, for leading the responding officer to where his owner’s mother had tripped and fallen on the sidewalk.

Fortunately, Eeyore tracked down the Okaloosa County deputy's cruiser and led the responding officer to his owner's mother.

"You're such a good boy! Grandma loves you." the grandmother can be heard on the officer's body cam video.

The woman's husband called 911 when she didn't return home from the walk.

The officer can be heard calling for an ambulance, but it appears the woman's injuries were not severe.

“He wouldn’t leave, he kept coming back to me,” the injured woman said in the body camera footage. “Oh sweetheart, good boy. I’m not even his owner—I’m his grandmother. Oh Eeyore, you’re a good boy, grandma loves you.”
